Awesome veggie patties made in-house; had the Spicy Vegetarian Burger (spoiler: not spicy, but delish.) Beer here is geothermally brewed - had the Hefeweisen (loved) and theBlonde Ale (liked.) Only reason not 5 stars is that I'm here with my dogs after searching dog-friendly restaurants --- dogs weren't actually allowed inside but could be tied to patio fence & sit in parking lot next to my patio table, but through the fence. But my waitress was super friendly & let me know about the fence-tying option instead of turning me away hungry & thirsty. I'm full and afternoon buzzed & happy.

Beer was good, food not so much. Atmosphere was good, but the food . . . not so much. Stop in for a drink, skip the food.

So this place was a fabulous road stop. We were driving 97 north and looked for a brewpub to stop by. Luckily we started searching early - my gps was not working properly in town. But the place was still easy to find, had a comfy feel of a neighborhood sports bar and pleasantly surprised us with a seriously full bodied full hops full alcohol Crystal Springs IPA, more elegant and understated Crater Lake Amber, and some nice food - a northwestern inspired salad and sausage + mushroom manicotti with home made asiago sauce and fresh tasting homemade pasta. Not to be missed! I'll come back for that Crystal Springs IPA and that manicotti (which was a suggested pairing, by the way).

Standard pub fare. Not bad but not exceptional. We had the Oregon Logger and a salad and 4 kids meals. Portion size was generous except the salad. The Crater Lake Amber was really good.

Renovated, refreshed, and positively awesome. I have been coming here for years, and it's the best it's ever been. Service is also very pleasant and professional. Atmosphere is great, and the food is so wonderful. In the warm months, they choose some great musicians for the patio. Love it out there!! I haven't had a bad meal in a long, long time! I honestly don't really have a complaint, except today, their soup was luke warm when I received it (ordered it right after opening for lunch). Totally understandable in my book.

Suppose someone decided to open a brewery and make average beer and serve bad food? What would happen? In Klamath Falls, people would flock to the place in droves! The place was packed. I had an unremarkable IPA served in a tired pint glass. You know, the kind of glass that has been beat around so much it shows signs of "being on the edge". Shall we use this glass or toss it? "Does it leak?" No? Then use it! I was starving from the Crater Lake trip. I ordered the BBQ ribs with fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw tasted as tired as that pint glass holding the tired IPA. The ribs were "smoked" in an oven and were dry except for the BBQ sauce which gave the taste. The fries were remarkably good! Sofie was served chicken risotto. A mound of pasty gloop with some uncooked rice inside the gloop and a few tasteless strips of chicken laid across the top. I gave her one of my ribs but she didn't like it either. When the waitress came back, Sofie told her "I think you should remove risotto from your menu. I cannot eat this." She apologizes and I told her it was not her fault - she just serves it up. It was the cook's fault. She brightened as if a heavy load was taken from her shoulders and said, "Thank you! I can't tell you how many times people think it's me that cooks the food and blame me!" The manager took the cost of the gloop ($16) off the bill - we gave a $16 tip to the girl and left forever. BONUS!! Sofie and I unanimously voted this place as the worst meal of our 8 day road trip Oregon!!

If you ever find yourself looking for food and a good beer in Klamath Falls, skip the local bar and go here. The atmosphere was so much more than I expected and the large outdoor seating area was roomy and well planned. Heater to keep you warm on those cold basin nights, great service and wonderful beer- try the vanilla Porter!

This place has an identification problem. Is it a brewery, a family restaurant or a sports bar? Based on the young female waitresses too young to serve alcohol yet dressed in tight jeans and low cut shirts, I'm leaning towards bizarre sports bar with kids running around, but this definitely is not a cool brewery. First, very little information on their brews is given outside of the chalkboard up front. In this day and age, this is sort of unheard of... People who like beer want to learn about it and every other place out there has detailed info on their beers readily available for customers to peruse. I think this place needs to catch up because they seem stuck in time, about ten years ago to be exact. Food: I got the pulled pork sandwich with fries. Tiny plate comes overloaded with food and zero open plate space. The sandwich was just OK. The BBQ sauce was of the super sweet variety and I'm more of a vinegar/spice BBQ sauce girl. It was perfectly fine if not too sweet. But the fries! Ooh those poor white, under fried fries were just screaming for one more bath in the fryer. They salted them well and they tasted OK but they were still white fries! White, I say! Brown those skinny pups up to make them even crisper, I beg you. Beer: loved the hefe, which is odd for me and I usually dislike most hefes as they are often too sweet. This one struck the perfect balance. The rest was generic but passable, although their special potato beer was really good too. I hate hate hate their vanilla porter... It is dessert mixed with beer more or less and I never want that combination.

Spent a night at the hotel next door while in Klamath Falls, and enjoyed a meal at the Brewpub with the family. Food: I had the steak salad, which was like a greek salad with a nicely-seared flat iron steak. Solid enough to be an entree and satisfied me after a long day's drive. Also tried the penne pasta with broccoli, with the asiago cream sauce on the side. Kids loved the pasta and vegetables, and I thought it was very good as well. For drinks I tried the Notch 8 IPA, which was great. Hoppy enough, with enough alcohol, but not over the top, like most Oregon IPAs I have sampled. All in all a very good meal with good beers, too. Service: Friendly, fast, and accommodating. Our server gave us good recommendations and the kitchen took care of all "special requests" so that our children didn't scowl at their plates when they arrived (phew!). Vibe: Chillax-indoors-or-outdoors. Cool outdoor patio, although we chose to sit inside as the bugs seemed to be swarming. When we went inside, we almost couldn't believe how cool it was in there! Booths, big comfy couches, and tables all mixed together. A cool bar area, and windows into the brewhouse. Everyone seemed to be there - families, locals, tourists - which gave the place a warm and friendly buzz. I dug it. Family-friendly: Yes. Kids menus (though I would encourage folks with kids who are early elementary school age to order off the regular menu at a place like this), crayons, and kids cups. Summary: Great spot to bring the kids, sample a variety of brews, and enjoy a good meal. Definitely seems like a go-to spot in town, and it is easy to see why.

I stopped here on a Sunday afternoon on my way through town. I figured, Brew-pub on a Sunday, should be decent. Let's just say I was underwhelmed and after reading some more of the reviews, now I see why. Service: Poor. They weren't what I would call "busy" and that comes into play later. I walked in and was "greeted" by a hostess who was clearly not thrilled about being there or that I was taking up her precious time. She grabbed a menu but when I said I would just sit at the bar she put it away and said seat yourself. Cool. I sat down and saw not one, not two, but three employees walk past me before even being acknowledged; took about 10 minutes. Finally, one waitress who I assume was the head server/shift manager came by and asked what I would like to drink. I got it expeditiously but it took another 8 mins for her to get me a menu after I asked for one. Meanwhile, only two servers were covering the whole floor. While I was sitting I noticed one employee, probably a runner, come up to the server station with a plate of food and start eating. That's not cool by itself but in the middle of eating she got called to run food (turned out to be mine). She proceeded to deliver my food after eating with her hands and not washing them, thanks a bunch. Then she went back to eating and I saw her repeat this behavior at least three other times. I also witnessed each employee use the glass they were serving each drink in as an ice scoop which is a big bar/restaurant faux pas....just ask John Taffer. In addition I got to listen to a steady stream of complaining from all the floor staff about how much it sucked to be at work and how they were dragging a**, etc; doesn't really instill confidence. I will say my server did apologize for taking so long to serve me, and she gave me a 10% discount, but I would have just preferred good service instead. Food: Poor. I ordered the patty melt. It came out pretty quick but you could tell there was really no effort put into it. The Rye bread was mildly stale and dry, the burger patty was very clearly a preformed frozen patty which was warm but not hot, also tasted slightly stale and had zero flavor. The cheese was only partially melted and the onions were about half sautéed. I would say I could have gotten a better burger almost anywhere. The shoestring fries were ok but there were way too many of them. Overall I was not impressed at all by my food. The owner of this place needs to get their act together. Most of the problems seem to be with staff and training and could easily be fixed. Food quality has to be better for sure. Just taking some time to put in a little more effort into what you're serving will go a long way. There are plenty of reviews here that clearly show a below-par establishment. If you're coming through town, I'd pick somewhere else.

This was our first trip, and our last. Where to start? Beer: poor to average. Not a lot of flavor. I guess that could be a good thing for a non beer snob but I was unimpressed. Food: kids menu sucks. Deep fried mac n cheese is really bad and waaaaay too hot. Even after 20 minutes it burnt their mouths as did the corn dogs. Burgers were dry and the nachos were so bad my wife wouldn't eat them. The logger burger was a pounded out, deep fried mess of shit that was so unappetizing I couldn't even choke down half of it. Stay away unless you want a gut bomb and gas. The only reason this place gets an extra star was for the staff. They were great and attentive.

Holy Wowza! Here's what you see when you first enter: "NOTICE! If you seat yourself, you may not get service" (or something to that effect). Such a warm and inviting welcome....a sign of what was to come. Umm, we waited to be seated, and STILL didn't get service. Yeah, this place has a big service problem...read the other reviews for more on that. The beer is very 2002--the standard IPA, Imperial IPA, Pale Ale, bunch. Pretty much all within style, but only a few standouts. To start with the bad: the Vanilla Porter was like going to the pharmacy and buying a bottle of Cough Syrup--it was down-right, zero-star, disgusting--the brewmaster should be ashamed. We liked the wheat beers, the potato pale ale (just because it was unique and varied from the rest), and a few others, but overall, I would go to the packie first and grab a six-pack before getting beer here... Food? Lots of food on a tiny plate. Get bigger plates so I don't have to eat my messy sandwich off the table. Food quality? Actually, not so bad. I enjoyed the spicy veggie burger, which was not spicy, but perfectly tasty. Overall, needs work. Not our first time here, but likely our last.

They have live music on a Wednesday night! So, of course, we sat on the patio. Bit chilly with no heating lamps, but well worth it for the music. The place looks clean and the service is friendly and accurate. Took quite a while for our main course to show up though, but when it did, it was piping hot. We ordered a couple of burgers, ribs, onion rings, and a beer. The onion rings were very good - not overly breaded and not overlooked. The mushroom Swiss burger was alright - a bit dry, but not overlooked. The buckaroo burger was delicious according to our friend. He was making yummy noise while eating - it was cute. The ribs were delicious. My husband is a big fan of ribs and also makes them and he approved. My husband also ordered the vanilla porter and really liked it. So why not five stars, you ask? Good took a while to come out and wasn't the best I ever had. It's also not cheap - $13 or so for a burger with fries should taste a bit more flavourful than this one did. The service was stellar, but the check took forever to come.

We went here on our way home from doing the Bend Ale Trail. Klamath is a weird little town but this brewery is certainly the gem of he town. lots of indoor and outdoor space including a bar and areas for larger groups. I had one of the veggie burger options and it was great! Homemade patty that was very flavorful and a great texture. My fiancé had the chicken fried steak burger which was hilariously huge! He couldn't finish it but he said it was really good. The beer was pretty good. Their ipa's are their best in my opinion. The only reason they didn't get five stars from me is because they seemed a little unorganized. When we came in three different waitresses said they would be rift with us. Finally we were seated by the bar tender but he failed to tell any of the waitresses so it took them a long time to even come to our table. It's wasn't really even that busy. They made up for it by giving us a free dessert which was a really nice gesture. We didn't even complain, the waitress just offered it because it was the right thing to do I definitely recommend this place if you randomly find yourself in Klamath. Haha

This place has a great vibe, and the patio is lovely. My husband and I both ordered a burger, and both were solid: great buns, cooked just as ordered, and generously sized. The fries were pretty good, too! I had the rootbeer, which was really excellent, and the hubs had a pale ale which he said was... Fine. My only complaint, which is echoed by most other reviewers, is that the service is disorganized. We were sat immediately by a cheerful hostess, but then waited 20 minutes while no one spoke to us. During that time we actively (but politely) tried to get the attention of the two servers working the patio who seemed like they were studiously avoiding us. We finally caught the eye of a woman bussing tables who asked if we had been helped, and she sent out our server who we hadn't seen on the patio at all. He apologized, told us the first round of drinks was on him, and was a great and thoughtful server through the rest of the meal. It seems like this might be more of a communication issue between the servers and the hostesses than anything else. Would have been great without the wait, so I'll probably return next time in Klamath Falls.

The only bright spot in Klamath Falls, good brews, try the pulled pork! When I was visiting the downtown area in Klamath Falls I was greeted by empty streets on a beautiful Sunday. I immediately abandoned my plan to stroll along Main Street since all store fronts, cafes, etc. were closed and I would have been the only person around. Nope it was not a holiday! Anyways, instead I decided to check out Klamath Basin Brewing Co. - the only bright spot in Klamath Falls that day. Although the area around the brewery is a bit run down, the brewpub itself is nice and the staff friendly. I ended up ordering the Crater Lake Amber and the potato skins, which made me order the pulled pork sandwich as well since the meat was just outstanding! In summary: + nice casual brewpub + friendly staff and guests + good brews + amazing pulled pork! All credit cards accepted.

This place was a nice stop on our way through town. Varied menu and a great selection of micro brews. There is a large outdoor patio. Great service and family friendly.

I used to think fairly highly of this place until recently. The last time I ate here I ordered a western burger. The bun was stale, the bacon was BARELY what you would consider cooked, and the onion ring was super small and not good. I wanted a pulled pork sandwich but they were out of pulled pork. The parking is also really lousy, most people just park in the motel parking lot next door which is total BS, not fair to that business owner that whomever owns this place doesn't do anything to mitigate that issue.

I almost walked out of this place because of the poor service. My sis and I came here after a day of hiking. When I asked the waitress about the available veggie burger options, she replied rather rudely that she didn't eat veggie burgers. But she worked there, and should be familiar with the dishes. She needs to change her attitude. I know Klamath Basin is cow country (I see tons on them grazing happily in the fields), but there is no need to give customers the attitude if they do not have the same preference as you. When my burger came, it was missing the avocado. I ordered the burger because I love avocado. I patiently waited for her, and waved to her and she saw me, but ten minutes passed and she never came back. So I went up to her, and told her that my burger was missing avocado. She came back 5 min later, with some guacamole and said the kitchen was out of avocado. She could have told me that earlier. My burger was cold by then, and I told her to get the kitchen to heat it up. Then I waited for another 5 min, before my dish came back, with fewer mushrooms, but warm. It was somewhat mushy, and I certainly had tastier veggie burgers. She took 30% off my burger on the check, and was much nicer to me afterwards. I still gave her a tip, even though I was fuming mad earlier, and almost wanted to talk to her manager. Not coming back, ever.

I had the best time here!! all the girls were amazing and Jerry! I can't say enough good things about Jerry :) he gave us a lovely tour.. chatted us up about brewing process and the history of the brewery... he made me feel like family the IPA and double IPA rocked my world! we enjoyed a sampler and let me tell you- we are beer Brewers and connoisseurs.. this place has very clean beers, definitely high quality :) picked up some growlers and looking forward to returning soon!

I had the Headstrong Blonde Ale (yum!) and the nachos (not great - the meat tasted like cardboard). The worst part was the fact that the waiter disappeared on us for about 20-25 minutes after we were done and while we were waiting for the check. We had to ask two other waiters to go find him for us, which was obnoxious. Otherwise this would be a 5-star review. Cute patio, good beer, just don't expect to get out of there right away!

Also known as The Creamery. We had the pale ale, fish and chips, and the soup bowl and salad. Everything was good. Service was very good, and food delivery was prompt. The restaurant is fairly clean and the patio dining is very nice, as long as you are not in direct sunlight. We were a bit disappointed that dogs are not allowed there on the patio. We were told dogs are not allowed anywhere in Oregon. We aren't so sure about that though. Regardless, we enjoyed our meal there.

good spot. just popped in to grab a bite and watch the NBA finals, game 4. (Warriors won!) Beers are good. Tried three; Notch-8 IPA, Rebellion Red, and seasonal Dog Days Wheat IPA. All three were spot on. True to form. If i had to order a fourth, I'd get another Red. We ordered Fish and Chips, a Salad w/ Steak, Onion Rings, and a side of hummus... I'd say... the food was OK, not excellent, but decent. I enjoyed the salad. B+. The fish and chips (subbed onion rings instead of chips) ... B- for the fish, A- for the onion rings (they were good). and the hummus... not a fan of the deep fried pita... C. Service was really good. Atmosphere was good, what you'd expect at a brew pub restaurant. I'd go back, for that sort of thing (beer, casual scene, sports game).

Really enjoyed this today! Giant patio with shade or sun as you choose. Very delicious salad and my companion thought the burger and fries were delicious, especially the bbq sauce on the burger. We were driving, so no beers for us at lunch, but we got some bottles to go. Will try later. Attentive and friendly service. Eat here!!!!

Stopped here on a recommendation from the hotel clerk (holiday inn). Staff was very attentive and Travis the bartender made some good recommendations on food. Wish the beers were a little different, basically the same stuff you can get at any micro brew. The seasonal, a wheat IPA was very good with a piney note and paired well with the Mac and Jack app that had a little spice. Will come back later this week for another try.

Popped on by on our drive up to crater lake. Delicious beer and surprisingly good food. Beer was pretty cheap and good quality. Definitely recommend this place. Service was also excellent.

We ordered a crispy dinner salad and chicken broccoli penne pasta. The amber and pale ale were good. Side salad came with the dinner salad. Mistake. Server admitted they were struggling in the kitchen. My dinner was cold and lacked white sauce. Our table rocked like grandmas old chair. We used the table number to level it. Seems like Klammath Falls lack good eats. We will not be back. Oh, Klamath Falls does not even have falls.

Good beer TERRIBLE Food. Loggers sandwich was dry and served cold missing cheese. Potato skins were tiny but good. Great atmosphere but stay away from the food. Our server was nice but clueless

Got here late, so only had time to try their beers (ok, IPAs). All were good, but their signature IPA was very good.

Totally pleasant experience. Ordered the Notch 8 IPA and calamari appetizer. The beer is dry and hoppy in the India style. The calamari had a medium batter fried to perfection. It is served with a house sauce called Yellow Thunder which had just enough spice to make it interesting. For the main course I ordered the special which was Southwest style cajun pasta topped with St. Louis ribs. The sauce was tasty. My preference would have been to kick it up a notch, but it was good. The ribs had a nice smoky flavor. My partner had the Great Basin burger. This is a good sized sandwich. The meat was cooked to perfection and the condiments fresh. Chosen side was onion rings. Beer batter was medium, fried nicely and also a generous portion. Our server, Julie was very friendly and service oriented. The general manager, Jerry, stopped by to make sure all was well and tell us about the brewery. Great place to sit out on the patio, enjoy the locals, libations and pub grub, all Americana.

Great beer, good food, excellent service. Britney did a great job both times I have been here. Very friendly, stopped by frequently to get me anything I needed and to make sure everything was great. They have a great patio to hang out on and good music.

Visiting from Sacramento and stopped to grab a bite. What a great find, though friends recommended it, really. The Mac-N-Cheese was rich and creamy. I ordered the blackened catfish and the sauteed black beans, corn and bacon side is so good. They use a very high quality bacon and don't skimp on any of their ingredients. The only minimal issue was the blackening seasoning could have been spicier. That is why I gave it a 4 star rating. But it could easily being a 5 star rating. Their pale ale is one of the best I ahve ever had. It was not to bitter like Sierra Nevada. But to make the experience better, one of the owners came over and chatted with us. I complimented him on my thoughts about the food and he seemed to really care that we enjoyed ourselves. His customer service only added to the great food and beer.

The beer here is really good. Huge fan of IPA's and their Defiance Double IPA as well as their Notch Eight IPA are both 2 of my favorites. A bit pricey for their burgers, but overall a good place to relax and have a beer.

I love the beer, great service and good beer. I loved the vanilla stout. The food not so great and ridiculously expensive. I was actually shocked at how expensive it is. I would think that will be their downfall is the pricing of the food. They would have a full house if the food was priced reasonably.
